“Toxic soup” of pollutants from car tyres found in road puddles, traced by citizen scientists working with Earthwatch Europe.

Chemicals from tyres were shown travelling from road surfaces to outfalls and into the river itself, in analysis using mass spectrometry with the ecotoxicology firm Emissions Analytics.
